LOTS / Nexus Backup Configuration Instructions

 

Your Nexus Backup System is now fully integrated with your LOTS dispensary software. You can see at a glance the status of your latest Nexus Backup from the LOTS main screen.

It is very easy for you to configure, please follow the next few steps to have your Nexus Backups reported within the LOTS system.

Stage 1 - Adding Nexus Username to LOTS

  1. From the LOTS main screen select TOOLS => then OPTIONS.



  2. Click the SWITCHBOARD Tab.

  3. Check the "NEXUS INTERNET BACKUP" check box.



  4. Enter your Nexus username. If you are unsure what this is, please feel free to call us.

  5. Click on OK to save.




    The status of your Nexus Backup can be easily now seen from the LOTS main screen.

Stage 2 - Configuring an automated Local Copy

  1. Plug a USB drive into your computer. This will remain there permanently.

  2. From the Main screen, go to TOOLS => BACKUP LOTS.

  3. Select the USB drive letter you just plugged in as the location, and click BACKUP.



There may need to be a slight modification made to your Nexus Backup set, please call us to have this applied. Once that is done and whenever your Nexus Backup is automatically run, a copy will be sent to the USB drive as well.
